Ranch Mac & Cheese

I made a delicious recipe tonight and I thought I ought to share it with you! I got it out of the Taste of Home magazine. Click all the pictures to make them bigger if you're curious!

1 package elbow macaroni 1 cup shredded Monterey Jack cheese***
1 cup milk* 1 cup shredded Colby cheese***
2 tablespoons butter 1 cup reduced-fat sour cream
4 1/2 teaspoons ranch salad dressing mix 1/2 cup crushed saltines
1 teaspoon garlic pepper seasoning 1 teaspoon lemon-pepper seasoning
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder** 1/3 cup grated Parmesan cheese****

*I substituted with soymilk and it tasted just fine!
**I actually forgot to grab this at the store and it still tasted just fine. I suppose it depends on how garlic-y you want it to taste. Without, it had a very mild garlic taste!
***My store doesn't sell shredded Mont, so I just bought a Mont & Colby pack and put in two cups.
****Not pictured because I forgot to take it out for the picture!

Get cooking your elbow macaroni while on the side, mix in your milk, butter, ranch mix, and seasonings in a Dutch oven.

Next add in the cheese and sour cream. (I promise the cheese was added - it just melted super fast!)

Add in your macaroni, the Parm, and saltines and enjoy!
